If you prefer a 3-way bass-reflex system for both music & movies – this $600 deal is hard to beat.

They need room to breathe & a decent source – I’m using a Modi Multibit & an ATC amp!

Excellent packaging ensures no damage in transit.

Get better sounding the more I listen to them. I am using them with vintage amps and receivers and them do quite well. Started out with 60 wpc receiver for break in. Very bassy at first until things loosened up and had to make adjustments. Moved them up to a 80 wpc amp after a couple months, superb sound . They sound like a much bigger speaker than they are. I am an older musician that still like their music like live. Rock these speakers, they can handle it! I moved them up quite a bit to 120 wpc receiver. Still smooth, bright, and they rock! They do need power to show their potential and need time for break in before they really sound good a bit more with new speakers, but wait is well worth it. Not seeing a lot of really thorough reviews on these speakers and I hope this helps.

This is a full-range speaker with excellent music fidelity from top to bottom and a well-defined soundstage. My wife, a symphony orchestra violinist for a couple of years, and her sister, a longtime orchestra flutist, both praise the accurate reproduction of instrument sounds. This speaker is efficient; I’m using a vintage receiver (40 watts per channel) and the sound can fill the house. This speaker must be amazing when hooked up to a contemporary high-end system. The sound gets better as the speaker gets broken in. Pros: Well constructed, good styling, and the walnut finish is most attractive. Compact size for the quality of the sound. Cons: The bass and midrange speakers are ported through the rear so placing the speaker at least 6 inches from the back wall is recommended.

I am very excited about these speakers! I purchased them in Walnut. The fit and finish of the cabinet wood veneer is top quality. I use these in a 2 channel set up with a network receiver and stream hi-res music which sounds phenomenal! The mid-bass and bass driver are made of Kevlar and are mounted in the speaker with high quality metal speaker bracing. It comes with 2 sets of spikes in a very nice boxes, one for carpet and the other adapts for hardwood flooring. The grills are black and clip right on with magnets and are half length with a nice KLH Logo on them. The binding posts are hi-grade and the speakers can be bi-wired and bi-amped.
A little adjustment with the port plugs if needed and place them away from the wall and you are set. Oh yes they have a 10 year warranty! Hard to beat for the price . . .

I took a chance on a”new”label and speakers with few reviews, and I am plenty happy that I did. These towers fit my ascetic, my available space, my budget and my listening needs. They sound very clean and have plenty of bass, in fact, I turned off the older subwoofer that was starting to sound out of place in my new soundstage. I listen to Classical and Jazz, and appreciate the purity that these speakers and my Denon receiver and Pro-Ject Debut Carbon turntable are offering me. The furniture grade enclosures are a bonus. Beautiful. I read so many conflicting reviews that I had to act, and I chose well indeed. Highly recommended!

Pros: Real wood furniture grade. Pure clarity with natural and satisfying bass.

Cons: Can’t think of a one.

As a college student, I do not have much disposable income to spend on hi-fi equipment, but I saved up to buy a good quality system that would last for years. It was truly a blessing to happen upon these affordable, excellent-quality floorstanding speakers by KLH Audio, a well-renowned company that has roots as far back as 1957 in this field. As a history major, knowing that KLH is deeply rooted was important to me. There was nothing old-fashioned about the clear, crisp sound that came out of the speakers-I had never heard some of my favorite songs sound so good before. I listen to a wide variety of genres and artists – from reggae to smooth jazz, from Bob Marley to Nina Simone and Frank Sinatra. All of them sounded awesome on this set of speakers, almost as if I was at a live performance. I use everything from cassette tapes to vinyl, digital and CD’s as well, and everyone superb enough to seem as if I was seeing the artists live in concert. Worth every penny, I would recommend them for anybody to use, audiophile or beginner alike.

I recently purchased a pair of the Quincy 3-way loudspeakers in black oak. I found the clarity and sonic detail to be amazing, all for the extremely reasonable price of only $1,000 per pair. What really impressed me was the separation of individual instruments, even a full orchestra playing a Beethoven symphony. They also really shined on country music and well-engineered rock (Eagles, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac). These are superb speakers.

I have a pair of these beauties in black oak. They are very well-balanced with exceptional clarity. The sound stage for these mid towers is unbelievable. I am so happy this retro brand has been revitalized, and when I say revitalized, I mean technically sound, high end materials of construction, and with craftsmanship an audiophile deserves. These are a true work of visual and audio art for real audiophiles. I love taking off the magnetic grills, so I can see the beauty underneath as well. I can’t believe the price point. These should be easily $1,500-$2,000 for a pair. You won’t be disappointed in this investment.
